Linton’s Mya Vetter places fourth in State Science Fair

Mya Vetter Mya Vetter Mya Vetter, a seventhgrader at Linton Middle School, placed in the State Science Fair, which was held April 4 and 5, in Grand Forks.

Vetter placed 4th in the South Central Region at State for her project,“Men Versus Women—A Statistical Analysis of Marketing.” Vetter was also recognized for the Best Junior (grades 6-8) Social Science Project at the State Science Fair, and she received a $150 cash prize. Mya is the daughter of Andrew and Kristen Vetter of Linton.

Brooke Vander Laan, a seventh-grader at Linton Middle School, also participated in the State Science Fair with her project, “Acid Reactions.” Brooke is the daughter of Chad and Meg Vander Laan of Pollock, S.D.

The International Science and Engineering Fair will be held May 13-17, in Phoenix, Ariz. Mrs. Annette Pavlicek and Mrs. Rhea Flyberg are the Linton Science FairAdvisors.
