Feb. 8, 2003 (KULM)— Brian Dykema scored a game-high 39 points, including 20 in the second half, to lead Strasburg-Zeeland to a 64-49 victory over Kulm. The home-standing Gophers held a 29-24 lead at halftime, but Strasburg-Zeeland went on a 40-20 run over the final two quarters. David Van Boven added 9 points, and Bryan Hummel chipped in 8 points for the Clippers. Ross Lindgren (18), Brent Giesler (11) and Evan Kusler (10) each scored in double figures for Kulm.

Feb. 5, 1993 (ZEELAND) —Rashad Schaffner scored 22 points and Jeremy Levi netted 17 points to lead the Zeeland Vikings to a 69-56 victory over Napoleon. Mike Kilber scored 9 points, Mike Eberle (gamehigh 13 rebounds) and Peter Eberle scored 8 points apiece, and Russel Wolf chipped in 5 points to complete the Viking’s scoring. Kelly Peterson led Napoleon with 22 points, and Shawn Sperle added 15 points for the Imperials.

Feb. 4, 1978 (MONANGO)— Brian Schmaltz’s goahead field goal with just under a minute left in overtime held up as Linton edged the Dickey Central Cougars, 62-60.Aloys Hulm led Linton with 20 points, while Lenny Ohlhauser tallied 15 points and 10 rebounds, Schmaltz added 12 points and 11 rebounds, and Paul Balliet (3 steals, 4 assists) and Brian Sauter chipped in 9 and 6 points, respectively, for the Lions. Dave Gramlow scored 20 points to lead Dickey Central.
